13 church members die in Sherman, TX bus accident

13 members of Houston's Vietnamese Martyrs Church died in a bus accident on August 8, 2008. The accident occurred on Highway 75 in Sherman, TX at approximately 12:25 AM. According to authorities the bus left the roadway and landed near a creek bed for reasons not yet determined. The bus rolled onto its side killing 13 of the 55 passengers onboard and injuring dozens. Local authorities have launched a full investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. At present time it is beleived that a tire blowout may have contributed to the accident.
