24-year-old Scott Anthony Chadwell killed in accident with 18-wheeler
On July 20, 2008 24-year-old Scott Anthony Chadwelldied in an accident involving an 18-wheeler. The accident occurred at approximately 6:00 PM in Lauderdale County, AL. at the intersection of Alabama 20 and Cox Creek Parkway. Chadwell was a passenger in a truck driven by a relative. The truck turned into the path of an 18-wheeler which forced the truck into a culvert killing Chadwell instantly. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
Investigators are still working to determine who is at fault in the accident.
