Three people injured in 18 wheeler accident in Orange County, FL.
On Friday, August 27, two people were injured in an 18
wheeler accident in Orange County, FL.The accident involved 39-year-old 18 wheeler driver Craig Roy, an
unidentified passenger in the 18 wheeler, and another driver, Michael Shaver.When the accident happened, Roy was driving a
UPS 18 wheeler west on Interstate 4.Local news stories indicate that Roy suddenly lost control of the
vehicle and jackknifed, causing the truck to crash into a highway median and an
SUV driven by Shaver.Initial
investigations indicate that some sort of mechanical failure caused Roy to lose
control of the truck.All three people
involved in the accident were hurt, but their injuries were thankfully not
life-threatening.Police are still
investigating the accident, trying to determine exactly what caused it.
