Trucker Michael Sullivan injured when his 18 wheeler rolls after being cut off in Cayuga County, NY.
On Tuesday, August 24, 40-year-old truck driver Michael
Sullivan was injured in an 18 wheeler rollover accident in Cayuga County,
NY.The incident happened on Interstate
90 at approximately 5:30 a.m.According
to local news stories, another driver allegedly cut off Sullivan, and he was
forced to swerve to avoid a collision.Officials currently believe that this caused his truck’s brakes to lock
up, leading to the rollover.Sullivan
was injured in his back, neck, and hip, though his injuries are thankfully not
life-threatening.He was taken to a
nearby hospital for treatment.Police
and other officials are still investigating the accident and the truck’s
braking mechanism.No word yet on any
charges.
