Lakewood, OH 18 wheeler accident claims the life of truck's driver.

On Thursday, August 12, the driver of an 18 wheeler died when his truck crashed in Lakewood, OH.  The accident occurred at roughly 9:15 a.m. on Interstate 90.  Early reports about the crash indicate that the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a light pole, at which point the truck caught on fire.  The driver was already dead when police and firefighters arrived on the scene.  A hazmat team was sent, though there was no chemical spill to clean up.  The driver’s name was not immediately available.  The accident is still under investigation, as police have not yet determined what caused the driver to lose control.
