Fred Reinhardt Jr. killed in 18 wheeler crash in Coloma, MI.

On Monday, August 16, 68-year-old Fred Reinhardt Jr. was killed in a fatal 18 wheeler accident in Coloma, MI.  The crash occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Interstate 94.  According to local news reports, traffic on the interstate was slowing down for a previous wreck.  However, an 18 wheeler on the interstate was not able to slow down in time and crashed into the back of a passenger car.  Reinhardt, a backseat passenger in the car, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Three other people in the car suffered moderate injuries.  Police are still investigating the crash.  They have not yet released word on charges filed against the truck driver.
