Carl York hit by 18-wheeler in Forney, TX.
On April 29, 2008 an 18-wheeler crashed into two parked cars on Highway 80 in Forney, TX causing one of the vehicles to fly into 59-year-old Carl York.
The accident occurred after a 20-year-old Zack Dean lost control of his SUV and crashed into a bridge. York stopped to offer assistance to Dean. As the good Samaritan was walking up to help, an 18-wheeler carrying two trailers struck the disabled vehicle resulting in York being hit by both the SUV and the 18-wheeler.
York had to be resucitated by paramedics at the scene. Dean was also injured in the accident as was the driver of the 18-wheeler, 37-year-old Frederick Watkins.
All three of the victims were taken by air ambulance to a local hospital.
A note from E. Michael Grossman:
The 18-wheeler involved in this accident is part of the Conway Trucking fleet. My law firm is familiar with this company. This is not an isolated incident. The 18-wheeler driver in this accident allegedly made a mistake and as a result Mr. York's life was put in jeopardy.

Thank you for the justice you have given to my Uncle Carl in this clip, for those who are interested he is doing okay so far. His face was shattered, pelvis was shattered and sustained 40% of his heart being bruised. He also had internal bleeding this has been brought under control.
