How insurance companies are avoided paying victims.

I have spent twenty years helping victims injured by 18 wheelers seek the compensation they deserve.  In the past, these lawsuits have been brutal.  The commercial insurance carriers that cover trucking companies have fought tooth and nail, denying liability at every turn.  Seeking justice in these cases was a constant struggle.  But today, the struggle is changing.  Insurance companies are using a new tactic, and with this tactic, they are deceiving victims and cheating them out of settlements.

Insurance companies began to realize that their aggressive behavior was driving people to seek attorneys to assist them in the legal battle.  This is the last thing insurance companies want.  So within the past five years, insurance companies have begun to be more passive.  They are acting friendly, cooperating with the victims in 18 wheeler accidents.  This may seem like a good thing, but it absolutely is not.  Insurance carriers have realized that, if they are less hostile, victims are less likely to seek an 18-wheeler accident attorney.  Insurance companies delay their investigations and bombard victims with friendly but leading questions.

The dangers here are twofold: first, insurance companies are able to extract information from victims that can be incriminating in court.  They are very adept at asking questions in such a way as to elicit answers that make you liable for an accident.  But perhaps more importantly, they are hurting your chances of finding an attorney.  Attorneys know that, the longer an insurance company has to interrogate a victim, the harder a case will be.  Insurance companies are hoping that they can delay your case long enough that, once you realize that they are working against you, no attorney will be willing to take your case.

In the modern legal world, it is imperative that you seek an experienced 18 wheeler accident attorney for dealing with these insurance carriers.  They are ruthless, and more than anything else, they care about their bottom line.  Don't succumb to their tricks.  With the help of a Dallas big rig accident lawyer, you can make sure that those responsible for your injuries are brought to justice.
