Leonard Clark killed in 18 wheeler accident in Maryland.
On Wednesday, February 24, Leonard Clark and his wife, Kimberly Clark were standing outside their vehicles on Interstate 95 in Maryland. They had exited their vehicles after having a small accident. While standing on the side of the road, they were both hit by a tractor trailer. Leonard Clark was pronounced dead at the scene. Kimberly Clark was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition. Police are still investigating the crash. Accidents involving 18 wheelers often result in tragic consequences. It can be terribly frustrating to know that these accidents could often be easily averted if trucking companies and their drivers would simply put the safety of others above all else. But this often does not happen, and in such cases, victims and their family members may wish to file an 18 wheeler accident lawsuit. I have worked on these cases for twenty years, and this is always a difficult process. Trucking companies and their insurance carriers will do almost anything to avoid accepting responsibility for an accident. But the truth is this: the law is on your side. With the help of an experienced Dallas big rig accident attorney, even the trucking giants can be brought to justice.

I think this is a terrible, terrible situation and those tractor trailers are driven extremely too fast. You never know when a person will be crossing your path for whatever reason and it is careless to drive in such a manner and put others lives in harm's way. This is a family torn apart but Thanks to God Kim will make and Poodie (Leonard) will not have to suffer the extremeties of the injuries. Something needs to be done!
