2-year-old Dylan Ayer was killed when a semi-truck struck his stroller
On Monday, February 1st, 2010, Courtney Ayer was jogging along Highway 99 in Corvallis, Oregon pushing her 2-year-old child in a jogging stroller, when the stroller was struck by an 18-wheeler as the woman crossed at an intersection. Two-year-old Dylan Ayers was killed at the scene. Reportedly, the semi-truck was stopped at a red light, then turned right and struck the stroller. The driver stopped to help, but it was too late.
If you have lost a child to a pedestrian accident, you may be considering recovering compensation from the negligent driver. Before you do, discuss your case with a wrongful death attorney. There is much more to a wrongful death lawsuit than most people think. If you decide to not use a lawyer, you may quickly find yourself in over your head. At that point, your case is most likely damaged beyond repair, and it will be very difficult to find an attorney that will accept your case. Do not make the same mistake that so many have made before you!
