Armando Alfaro, Miguel A Lacano, and Agustin Guzman killed in accident involving 18-wheeler
Three are dead, and two more are injured following an accident involving an 18-wheeler and a van in Marion County, South Carolina. The accident took place on the evening of Friday, January 29th, 2010. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on US-79, when an 18-wheeler pulled through a yield sign while turning left. A 1997 GMC van then crashed into the semi-truck, killing three occupants of the van. Armando Alfaro, Miguel A Lacano, and Agustin Guzman were killed, and Nestor Armando and truck-driver William Eastwood were hospitalized for injuries. Weather was clear at the time of the accident, and the case remains under investigation.
