A firey accident claims the life of a truck driver in California

On June 13, 2009, and 18-wheeler crashed into a railing on the 91-E transition road to 710-N causing the truck's fuel tank to rupture and explode. The fire quickly consumed the entire truck sending black smoke into the air that was visible for miles. The truck was burned so badly that only the metal frame rails and axles remained. The truck's driver died in the fire.
