On April 28, 2009 an 18-wheeler accident occurred in Temple, TX. The single vehicle 18-wheeler accident occurred on Loop 363 and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The alleged cause of the accident is said to be driver inattention. According to authorities, the driver bent over to retrieve something in his truck when he lost control, over-corrected, and then flipped the 18-wheeler over. The truck was carrying approximately 9,000 gallons of milk of which some 4,000 gallons spilled out. The driver was not seriously hurt.
