An 18-wheel truck carrying metal overturned on Eastex Freeway near Interstate 10 in Houston on Wednesday, December 5, 2007. The trailer overturned around 5:30 a.m. This was the 2nd day in a row for an 18-wheeler truck to overturn on a Houston freeway.
18-wheeler trucks most of the time are carrying heavy loads which make it easy for them to turnover. It is fortunate that there weren't any injuries involved in this particular accident. Often times when an 18-wheeler is involved in an accident with another vehicle serious injury or even death may occur.
