Local reports from The Reporter indicate a motorcyclist was killed in an 18-wheeler accident in Vacaville, California. The wreck occurred around 7:45 p.m. Friday, February 17 when 55-year-old William Brown was riding his Harley-Davidson Road Glide along Crocker Drive. Police are unsure how the incident occurred, but the motorcycle struck the rear portion of the rig, suffering critical head injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

In these types of incidents, it is typically prudent to have an investigation work in collaboration with the police reports to determine a cause.
