Commentary
I do understand this accident occurred a few months ago, but according to Crime Stoppers no arrests or indictments have been made. It is a terrible thing when someone does not have the moral sense to turn themselves into authorities. Not only is evidence of the accident just floating in the ether so to speak, but the family of the victim is not allowed any type of closure.
In a situation like this, once an arrest is made, it is imperative that a third party investigation be used for civil purposes. Obviously, accident recreation is much more difficult when time has elapsed, but it is certainly not impossible.
