Truck driver Murrell Warren dies in single vehicle 18-wheeler accident
On October 22, 2008 an 18-wheeler left the roadway resulting in the death of the driver, 50-year-old Murrell Warren. The acciddent occurred as Warren was driving eastbound on I-20 near mile marker 111 in Lee County, South Carolina. The 18-wheeler left the roadway and crashed into a wooded area. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined but investigators believe that Warren never attempted to apply his brakes.
