From the initial news reports, it would appear that driver negligence may have played a role in this tragic accident. However, initial news reports are often lacking in detail that is necessary in properly assessing liability for an accident. Should any type of negligence by any involved party be suspected of having played a role in this fatal accident, an independent investigation can be pursued so that all of the liable parties can be identified and held accountable for their negligent behavior. Depending on the specifics of the accident site, an employer, a co-worker, another person or entity, or even a parts manufacturer may bear some or all of the liability for this tragic accident.
