According to recent news reports from Mount Pleasant Texas one woman has been hospitalized after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries in a three-vehicle accident involving an 18-wheeler. Reportedly the injury accident occurred on Monday Jan. 31 around 2:40 a.m. on westbound I-30 between Winfield and Mount Pleasant. An 18-wheeler struck a passenger vehicle being towed by another passenger vehicle near mile marker 155. The impact caused the towed car to strike the car towing it. Apparently the collision caused the towed car to be pushed by the semi-truck for almost a mile. No injuries were reported in connection to the 18-wheeler driver or those in the towing car; however two people were in the towed car one of whom was taken to an area hospital.
